Mastica is a migratory pop-up dinner concept by Ivan Trejo. The menu is as stable as the location. Los Angeles being a melting pot of people, food and culture developed his taste palette, technique, and creativity to be just as diverse. Mastica is a “world chew. It’s everything all mixed into one.” Ivan Trejo and Nicolas Ortiz stop by to talk to the Altura LA boys of passions, age gaps, Nico's moonlighting as a Paisa Boys model and so much more. Welcome to The Altura Podcast!
Altura is an art gallery and studio space located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles: Lincoln Heights. As an interdisciplinary collaboration between visual arts, music, and fashion, Altura will house a variety of exhibitions and events in an effort to bring together local artists and the community.

The amplification of voices with no outlet is necessary for exposing problems and highlighting achievements. As a branch of that effort, The Altura Podcast will be that opportunity for a deeper enlightenment and understanding through discussion and interviews with artists, friends, creatives, and partners.
